Biography
Nicole completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the Nursing Education Program of Saskatchewan in 2009, then worked as a Registered Nurse in rural Saskatchewan, gaining experience in emergency medicine, acute care, pediatrics, labour and delivery, postpartum care, cardiac surveillance, and palliative care. After witnessing the lack of access to family physicians, she chose to become part of the solution by pursuing a career as a Nurse Practitioner, completing a Master of Nursing–Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of Regina in 2017.
She has since provided care for patients of all ages in medical clinics, home services, and northern community care centers. Nicole believes in being a partner in her patients’ healthcare journey, with the patient taking an active leadership role in their care. She has full prescriptive privileges, can refer as necessary, order lab tests or imaging, and complete procedures such as Paps and IUD insertions. Originally from rural Saskatchewan, she now lives in Regina with her two children.
